Meet Our Founder, Peter

Peter Calderone has spent 23 years in the disability sector: managing a day program, supporting people in shared accommodation and, for the past two decades, helping school leavers find their feet in work. Along the way he completed a Master of Autism Studies and became a registered Developmental Educator, a specialty few providers anywhere can offer.

Reach My Potential is the business Peter built to do this work his own way: personally, without the layers, and always guided by what each person wants for themselves. Read his full story and get to know the person you'd be working with.

Getting Started

Three Steps To The Right Support

Getting support started should feel easy, and we've made sure it is. Here's how it works, from the first phone call through to your first session.

Chat

A friendly phone call about what you need, what's working and what isn't. If we're not the right fit, we'll say so and suggest someone who is.

Plan

Together we map out support around your goals and your NDIS plan: what we'll work on, when we'll meet and what progress will look like.

Support

Support begins, and we check in regularly to make sure it's still working for you. As your goals shift, the support shifts with them.

Our Values

What Guides Every Decision We Make

These values guide every decision, from how a session is planned to how quickly we return your call. Here's what each one means in practice.

Inclusion

A good life happens in community, so we build support that brings people in: to places, groups and friendships.

Equality

Everyone deserves the same shot at a good life, and support exists to level the ground, never lower the bar.

Choice & Control

Your support is yours to shape: what it looks like, who delivers it, when it happens and when it changes.

Innovation

New research and fresh ideas make support better, so we keep studying, adapting and trying what works.

Trust

We keep our word: turning up when we said we would, following through and owning it if something goes wrong.

Voice

We listen first and check we've understood, so your words, in whatever form they take, lead every plan.

Common Questions

What People Usually Want To Know

Yes. We're registered across a broad range of support types, from daily living and community participation through to therapy delivered by a Developmental Educator. Registration means our services are audited against the NDIS Practice Standards, and it means you can use us whether your plan is agency-managed, plan-managed or self-managed.

We support people across Sydney's north, inner west and greater west, from our home base in Gladesville through to Ryde, Parramatta and beyond. We come to you: home, school, workplace or out in the community. If you're not sure whether we cover your suburb, ask us. The answer is very likely yes.

People with disability of all ages, from young children through to adults, with a particular depth of experience supporting autistic people and people with intellectual disability. Our practice is neuro-affirming: we work with the way your brain works, build on your strengths and treat difference as something to understand, never something to fix.

Call us on 0410 606 694 or fill out our contact form, and we'll get back to you within 24 hours. From there it's a relaxed chat about what you need, a plan built around your goals and support underway as soon as you're ready.

Absolutely. We're always glad to work with support coordinators, therapists, teachers and families so that everyone is pulling in the same direction. You stay in the loop the whole time: nothing about your support gets decided without you.
