Peter's Story
Twenty-Three Years In The Making
Peter Calderone started in the disability sector 23 years ago and never wanted to leave. He spent his early days in supported accommodation, managed a day program for around 12 years and has spent the past two decades helping school leavers take their first steps into working life. The longer he worked, the clearer one thing became: people achieve remarkable things when the support around them starts from their strengths.
That conviction sent him back to university. Peter completed a Master of Autism Studies with distinction at the University of Wollongong and became a registered Developmental Educator, joining one of the smallest and most specialised allied health professions in the country. Reach My Potential brings all of it together: the qualifications, the decades of practice and a simple belief that every person deserves support built around who they are.
